Tim Delaney

Tim Delaney is an accomplished attorney and policy advocate who has successfully argued in the U.S. Supreme Court, testified before Congress, negotiated in the White House, and helped prosecute the impeachment and removal of a Governor.
After graduating from Yale and earning joint degrees in law and public affairs from the University of Texas, Tim served as a partner at a multi-state law firm, State Solicitor General, Chief Deputy Attorney General, leader of the nonprofit Center for Leadership, Ethics & Public Service, adjunct faculty member at ASU, and civic volunteer. Tim recently retired after 16 years as President & CEO of the National Council of Nonprofits, which he transformed into the largest network of charitable nonprofits in North America by championing, connecting, and informing charitable nonprofits to advance the public good. Policy victories included securing $50 billion for charitable nonprofits that helped save 6.2 million nonprofit jobs during the worst of the pandemic to keep services flowing to the public.
Tim is the proud father of two daughters, and grandfather of two wonderful children.
