Sharon Colby

Sharon Colby devoted her professional life to partnering with social benefit organizations at local, national, and international levels in human services; healthcare; education; religion; government; and community development. Her consulting and coaching work included leadership development; organizational transformation; team building; conflict resolution; vision making and strategic planning; and board, staff, and community advancement.

Sharon began in the crucible of group process experiences and went on to obtain an MA in Counseling Psychology from Loyola University with additional training in organizational development, conflict resolution, spiritual direction, and expressive arts.

As a newly published author, she writes creative nonfiction essays and is developing a book on advanced group process facilitation skills and practices. She is committed to developing facilitators and trainers who use those skills as coaches, facilitators, leaders, community organizers, and more.

Sharon's two children, daughter-in-law, and two grandchildren live in the Midwest, where she may return to after living in New Mexico.
