Richard Sleece

Richard A. Sleece is a seasoned executive coach and president of Richard A. Sleece Associates, Inc. Rich works as a coach and “trusted advisor” with global leaders, boards, and teams to maximize their performance in ways that consistently produce business improvements. He offers expertise in coaching executives, management, and staff; communications and team-building; organizational leadership and strategic planning; and business/performance analysis and process development. Rich’s work includes engagements in the areas of petrochemicals, financial services, pharmaceuticals, health insurance, non-profit, hospitality, and engineering and construction.

Rich’s experience also includes three decades with Exxon during which he was responsible for the planning and development of leading-edge initiatives to optimize operations of the company’s plants and for transforming understaffed and inefficient operations into best-in-class organizations. He also led the development/execution of multi-million R&D programs. Lastly, Rich played a critical role in the merger of Exxon and Mobil’s engineering organizations into a single, high-performing company.

For over 30 years, he has applied his business experience to non-profit organizations. His volunteer involvement has included numerous board positions and hands-on volunteering in the areas of community development, child development, child care, mentoring, medical care, affordable housing, and the arts.
