Mark Spanier

Mark Spanier grew up in the Chicago area and has an undergraduate degree from Indiana University Kelley School of Business and an MBA from University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign. Mark spent the majority of his career working in Supply Chain Finance and Accounting, with emphasis on financial reporting, process improvement, system implementation, and cost reduction. Mark recently retired from Williams Sonoma as the Vice President of Finance–Supply Chain.
While in undergrad, Mark met the love of his life, Carla. They have two adult sons and a daughter-in-law who all live in the Chicago area. Mark is an enthusiastic volunteer who has served as a school board president and provided financial direction to parish and schools. Mark is a member of the Indiana University Transportation and Supply Chain Executive Board and volunteers as a mentor to IU students. He has been an avid runner all his life and has completed ten marathons. After completing the ILI program, Mark and Carla will be moving back to Bloomington where they first met.
