Kevin Simpson

Kevin Simpson was born and raised in and around Wichita, Kansas. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Notre Dame and his medical degree from the University Chicago. Kevin continued his education at the University of Chicago completing a Residency in Internal Medicine and Fellowship in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine.

Kevin then joined the faculty of Loyola University Medical Center where he has practiced Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine for over 30 years. In addition to clinical practice and research, he served as the program director of the Loyola Internal Medicine Residency for 29 years, during which time he is proud to have facilitated the education of over 1,000 physicians in training, serving as a lifelong mentor to many. A skilled educator who has received numerous teaching awards, Kevin is committed to lifelong education.

Though he's a passionate Notre Dame sports fan, Kevin also enjoys cheering for both the Chicago Cubs and Kansas City Chiefs. He can be found hacking his way around a golf course as the self-proclaimed “worst golfer who owns a set of clubs.”
