Julia Marlowe

Julia grew up in Mt. Vernon, IL in a family of five children. Her mother was a custom dressmaker, who worked from home, while her father worked in a garment factory. Julia served as a corporate officer in the financial savings and lending industry for several years. Volunteering introduced her to what would become a 20-year career in fundraising and executive management, initially at a college. Her career then transitioned to the healthcare sector, where she served on the senior leadership team of a regional healthcare system. Her most recent professional venture brought her into private practice as a leadership and executive coach.

She earned a BBA at Fontbonne University and coach accreditation at Georgetown University. In retirement, the music ministry of her parish and supporting women’s education have been her focus. She has now turned her attention to discovering what is next.
