Gail Maguire

Gail Maguire was born and raised in the Washington D.C. area in a home with an emphasis on education. Her father, a product of the " Great Depression," was a Civil Engineer who worked for the U.S. Government for 40 years. Providing an education for his three daughters was his greatest accomplishment.

Gail earned a Bachelor of Science in Education from Franciscan University and dedicated her career to that same value of education. During Gail’s years as an educator, she taught in various settings and to students of all ages with diverse backgrounds and needs. Most recently, she became a certified Mental Health Instructor and taught Mental Health First Aid to nurses, teachers, law enforcement, and other professionals raising awareness of mental health challenges and reducing the stigma associated with it.

Gail enjoys travel, reading, learning new things, and meeting new people. One of her most memorable travel experiences is walking the El Camino Santiago. She practices yoga and Tai Chi, and open-water swims in the Gulf of Mexico. Gail raised five children, has ten grandchildren, and has lived in Clearwater, Fl for 45 years.
