Program Manager, Inspired Leadership Initiatives
Emily Turner joined the Inspired Leadership Initiative in June of 2019 as the Program Manager. In this role, she supports the ILI fellows, particularly in their social and academic programming throughout the year. She provides dedicated attention to planning and managing events and functions to enhance the fellows experience while in the program.
Prior to joining Notre Dame, Emily spent five years working for the City of Boulder in Colorado in the Department of Planning, Housing and Sustainability as an Administrative Supervisor. In that role she led a team of administrative professionals in supporting department and programmatic functions, with an emphasis on customer service and process improvement. Emily’s prior professional experience includes a variety of roles in program coordination, event planning, and project management in non-profit, religious and government agencies.
Emily holds a Bachelor’s of Arts in Political Science and Communication from Saint Louis University. She lives in South Bend with her husband Patrick, who also works for the University of Notre Dame, and their son Theo. As a family, they enjoy exploring their new hometown and the greater Michiana region.
